Martha Agnes Teets died at her home in Kalona early Tuesday morning after years of bedfast illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kalona Baptist Church with Rev. Ada Hillis and Rev. William Althof officiating. burial follows at Elm Grove Cemetery. Born February 28, 1898, she was the daughter of J. A. and ? McGuire. She married Gerald Teets on April 29, 1922, and they lived in Kalona for 25 years. Survived by her husband, one sister Mrs. Howard Duvall, three brothers Tom, Herbert, and Edward McGuire, with one brother predeceasing her. several nieces and nephews also survive.
