Alphabet bomber arrested in Los Angeles case
Police arrested Muharem Kurbegovic, a Yugoslavian printer, suspected as the Alphabet bomber who killed two skycaps and a New Zealand traveler and wounded 35 at the airport on August 6. He allegedly claimed the role of Isaac Rasim and was to face murder charges as the FBI prepared a destruction of an airport case with possible life term. Officers traced his voice on a ransom tape to Rasim after surveillance and a casette drop.
