Roy Christiansen, 27, oil truck driver, died at a hospital in Emmetsburg from burns suffered in an explosion at the R. G. Staley farm near Curlew. The accident involved a tractor driven by Art Burney, 238, who also received burns but is expected to recover. Burney had turned off the tractor, but gas ignited as the tractor remained heated.

Missouri Man Fined as Whiskey Confiscated Near Bloomfield
