St James School Registration Sets Back to School Procedures
St James School will hold registration on Friday August 20 from 9 to 3 to collect book rental fees school insurance lunches and other preliminaries. Book rental remains 20 per student with 3.50 insurance per student or 15 for full year. Lunch tickets cost 4.50 with free and reduced price Lunch program. First day of school is Wednesday August 25 with 8 45 start and 3 15 dismissal. New teachers include Sister Mary Vivina Bly BVM. Continued on Page 12.

In the Mindanao Sulu disaster zone heavy rains slowed relief as the toll of dead and missing rose past 5,000. Officials reported 3,103 dead, 2,282 missing, 688 injured and 28,716 homeless with U S aid agencies ready to mobilize. A Philippine Air Force relief flight was diverted.
