Washington Community School District reminds all students that August 18 marks registration for the 1972 73 term. Elderly Texans murdered on East Texas farm

Diers Injured After Car-Trailer Collision Near Brighton
Everett Diers, driving a pickup, was injured when he attempted to pass a tractor pulling a mixer grinder driven by Merlyn Anderson on the Brighton Germanville road five miles south of Brighton. The tractor was damaged. Diers was taken to a doctor for treatment. Mt. Pleasant Highway Patrol investigated.
