A local event on the jail yard featured dogs, a judge County Supervisor Lloyd Walker, and announcer Rev. Carlyle Smith. Craig and Gary Swift and Tommy Smith organized it with prizes totaling about 5 dollars. Mrs. Celie Wallerich, 78, died Wednesday night at Helen Hadley Rest Home in Richland after several weeks of illness. Funeral at Gould Funeral Home Saturday 2 p.m. Rev. Harley Yates and Rev. John E. McCracken officiating. Burial in Richland Friends Cemetery. Survivors include five children, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a half brother, two half sisters, and a host of relatives. She was a Church of the Brethren member and later attended Richland Friends Church.
