After orientation in New York he visits Davenport High, registers for classes in speech mathematics government biology art and vocal music. Arson Suspected In East Waterloo Apartment Fire
Police said arson suspected after two fires damaged separate units in a new low rent housing project on Waterloo’s east side Sunday night. Firemen reported no occupants at the time and no injuries.

Three Die In Baldwin Area Triple Fatality Crash
A weekend in Iowa saw 13 deaths in traffic accidents. In the Sunday night crash near Baldwin a car carrying Frank Ihns, 58, and passengers Myrna Pithan, 51, Elfreda Fells, 59, and Mertyle Ihns, 52, all of Baldwin, resulted in three fatalities. Frank Ihns was treated and released. Wilbur Pithan, also of Baldwin, remained hospitalized in Maquoketa.

Vietnamese Marines Hold Near Quang Tri Citadel
South Vietnamese marines battled six engagements within two miles of the Quang Tri Citadel but failed to breach the fortress. In the 24 hours ending at noon, at least 185 rounds of 130mm artillery pounded the area while the fighters operated north east and south of the Citadel, remaining 500 yards away from the walls.
