Six people including four children burned to death when a car was rear ended and caught fire near Greenville Ohio. The other car’s driver and passenger were injured and hospitalized in Dayton. Kentucky licenses indicated the victims likely hailed from Kentucky.
George Romney secretary of Housing and Urban Development says he plans to leave Nixon's cabinet to work privately on public problems. Reported speculation tied his name to a post in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after he briefed Nixon on Agnes ravaged eastern Pennsylvania communities.
