University of Iowa geologist Prof. Richard Hoppin will use the Earth Resources Technology Satellite to seek lineaments in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming and Montana. UPI reports two escapees from Allamakee County Jail in Waukon, Fred Davis and Paul Kruse, were captured after a muddy swamp chase near the Mississippi River. A third accomplice, Eugene Hitner, remained at large as authorities used floodlights and bullhorns to corral the trio.
