Trespassers Enter Club House and Theft Reported

Robert C McCleary 65, a longtime Crawfordsville resident born on a Louisa county farm, died August 8 1931 after a year of illness. Council Enacts Taxing Ordinance Amid Budget Cut
City council approved the proposed tax levy based on the budget estimate, with taxes reduced from last year to about 50 mills. Nineteen Drown In Carolina River Crash Near Georgetown
Up-Waters of the Sanford river near Georgetown South Carolina were dragged today for the bodies of 17 negroes and two white men who died when a truck they rode in crashed through an open drawbridge two miles south of Georgetown. The accident occurred as the vehicle plunged into the water after the bridge gave way during flood conditions.
