Two bandits robbed the First National Bank of Rembrandt, locking cashier Louis Pingel in the vault and kidnapping assistant Lloyd Haroldson. They fled in a car, Haroldson was thrown from the vehicle on Highway 71, and authorities, including State Agent Ray Scott, hunted the suspects with vague descriptions.
