Licensing and regulation of passenger conveyance in Washington

City ordinance restricts carrying passengers within Washington to licensed operators. Fees set at $1-$2.50 per day or up to $12 weekly. residents pay reduced annual rates at the mayor's discretion. Prohibits overcharging above ten cents per ride and enforces misdemeanor penalties and fines. The measure, approved August 2, 18%, takes effect upon publication.
