Keota Farmer Dies After Tractor Accident
Raymond John Peiffer 50 died when a tractor hit a hole in a field and threw him into the plow as it circled about a half mile. Neighbor searchers found his body about 3:30 am near his stalled tractor in a field north of 76 Center northeast of Keota. He was born May 29, 1911 at Harper and survived by his wife Maurine and several children, with funeral plans pending.
