Edwin Griffith aged 77 of Washington died Friday afternoon at his daughter's Burlington home after a prolonged illness. Funeral services are set for Monday at 2 PM at Jones funeral home with Dr. Ry Reed officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove cemetery. Survivors include four children, three brothers, three sisters, and two half sisters. One daughter, Martha Eli Griffith, preceded him in death. Speech: 1873 birth in Louisa County. He lived 40 years in Washington and was a farmer.
