Inspection of Iowa State Guard at Washington HQ
Major J. E. Hudson of the Seventh Service Command conducted the annual inspection of Washington's headquarters company of the Iowa State Guard at the armory in Omaha last night. He tested riot formation, machine gun maneuvers, and bayonet drill, while reviewing armory, equipment, and unit turnout. Forty men attended of a 46 roster, with 60 expected, under Capt. George Baker and Lts. Rodney Kephart and Edward Chabal. Col. Oliver S. Reiley watched the proceedings and praised the NCOs.
