Ben P Wallace 70 Dies in Iowa City
Ben P Wallace 70 of 1127 Kirkwood Court Iowa City died Tuesday afternoon in Iowa City from a heart attack while driving. Born August 4 1891 in Washington he was a son of Lee H and Frances P Wallace and attended Amherst College and the University of Iowa. He married Dorothy Miller Oct 30 1915 in Washington and worked in the lumber business with his father then in Iowa City. Survivors include his widow three daughters Mrs Jack Weih Traverse City Mich Mrs Charles Gay Iowa City and Mrs E Fox Shain Ramstein Germany eight grandchildren. Funeral services were held this afternoon in Iowa City with burial there.

Keota Man Dies In Sigourney Hospital
Jack A. Conrad 73 of Keota died Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Keokuk County Hospital in Sigourney. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church Keota with burial in St. Marys Cemetery. Parish rosary is Friday at 9 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. He was born August 5, 1888 in Keota and married Sirene Koch January 31, 1911. He lived on a farm south of Keota before moving to Keota in 1950 and was a member of St. Marys Church. Survivors include his widow a son Maurice G. of Keota two granddaughters and three brothers Matt Storm Lake John Spencer Charley Fonda and two sisters Mrs Myron Oswalt Keota and Mrs Julius Graeber Sigourney. He was preceded in death by three brothers.
