Thirteen Die in Harlem River Accident
Thirteen lives were lost when a new bride across Harlem River at 182nd street collapsed. Three died instantly and ten drowned nine were seriously injured. Police shot a patrolman during the incident.

Eddie McMahon fourteen son of Mrs James Mahon of 607 North Gunnison Street was struck by a fast stock train engine at Agency street crossing last night at seven. He suffered serious injuries but surgeons now doubt he will die and expect recovery if no internal damage appears. He is at St Frances Hospital with painful but healing wounds.
