Van Horne firemen to rejoin after beer ban reversal

New $2 Bill Hit On Jefferson Birth Day

Escapes fiery crash near industrial district headline
A 25 year old Washington man escaped serious injury after a one car crash on a gravel road east of the industrial district. Ray M Bailey spent the night in county jail on public intoxication and was released on 35 dollar bond. The car rolled after missing a curve and burst into flames, Bailey freed himself with a minor head cut. The fire department destroyed the auto. The accident occurred about 12 30 a m. Also, Marvin Whetstine 45 of Wellman is held without bond on possible parole violation after late Friday arrest for public intoxication.

Seven Die In Miami Hotel Fire At Avon Dale
