Chairman Carl W. Klein announces a seed and commodities depot will open in the George Breitenbach room north of the National Bank of Washington to serve relief families. It will operate Wed Thu Fri this week then Mon Wed Fri. Mrs. John Green will oversee. seeds and potatoes provided for subsistence gardens with ready planting, prioritized for those already on relief.

Funeral services for Mrs John Ramge at Keota
Funeral services for Mrs John Ramge were held at the Keota Christian church with a home service at 527 West Madison. Rev Vernon H. Carter officiated. She died Saturday afternoon after a two week illness. Born Addie Said in 1866, she married John Ramge in 1884 and lived in Valley, Seventy-six township, then Washington. She leaves four children and eleven grandchildren. one son Howard died in 1918 influenza. Three sisters also survive.
