Word reached the city Wednesday of the death of Mrs. D. P. Hays in a hospital in Alberta Canada. Formerly Catherine Daly of this city she died Saturday of last week and the funeral was held Monday at Carstairs Canada where her family resided. Mrs. Hays was well known here and lived in the city from birth until moving west. She was a young lady of lovable character and kindly disposition, and many friends here were grieved by the news.
