Coal dock busy as four boats arrive at Northwestern docks
Four coal boats anchored at Northwestern Fuel Company docks on Monday with Thomas Palmer and Iron Queen carrying about 5500 tons of soft coal and Nelvana and Galatea about 5000 tons of hard coal. The firm employs around fifty men when boats dock, unloading costs about 400 dollars per cargo, and the company aims to break all prior records this season.
