Tax Sale in Bayfield County Draws High Bids and Excitement
The Tuesday tax sale in Bayfield County drew the most spirited bidding yet, with Deputy Treasurer H. P. Axelberg estimating eight to ten thousand dollars to the treasury. Principal bidders included C. A. Lamoreaux and F. J. Colignon of Ashland, Mark Hessey, A. 2. Mead and P. J.
