Death of Spokane timber claimant John Wallum
John Wallum, a member of a party that went west to claim timber, died in Spokane Washington yesterday after taking sick on the road. The telegram announcing his death was received by his family this afternoon. The body will be prepared for shipment and sent back for burial. He leaves a wife and three children in Washburn where the family has lived fourteen years.
