Death in Dynamite Blast Claims Local Workman
Conrad Wigen, 30, of this city died after a dynamite explosion while blasting stumps on road work in Bayfield county. He was badly injured at 5 PM near Grand View and died the next day in Ashland. Survived by mother, father, and two brothers. funeral held at Bayfield Street residence led by Rev. Christiansen with American Legion escort. Burial in Woodland Cemetery.
