Bayfield County plans a strong display at the State Grain and Potato Show in Milwaukee December 5 to 10. The exhibit features 8,000 bushels of pedigree barley oats and spring wheat for sale at seed prices, with farmers contributing potatoes and grain. Honey producers also present a major display, with 65 tons of No 1 honey from 60 beekeepers, and leading producers listing sales of up to 20,000 pounds.

A Carnegie Free Library program was held Monday evening to acquaint pupils and parents with the library. Superintendent H E Wilkins spoke on education and library value. Elmer Qistad and Miss Ried gave readings. Florence Mark recited. a male quartet performed. phonograph and Miss Smith on books added. Refreshments followed social hour.

Knights Elect Officers At Meeting And Accident Report
At the Knights of Pythias annual meeting officers were elected for the year. A supper was served at 6:30 PM. Installation will be in January. David Davis, two year old son of Rev. and Mrs. D. W. Davis, had an accident while drinking milk, a glass broke, injuring his finger and cutting his face and hands. Doctors set stitches. finger may be saved if no complications arise.

Nurses Organize Eleventh District Association in Wisconsin
The Graduate Nurses of the 11th District met at St. Joseph's hospital in Ashland on December 5 to form the Eleventh District Nurses Association of Wisconsin. Officers elected include Anna M. petitions have gone to Washington asking the Postal Department to establish another rural route running out of this city and a survey will likely be made soon. Benoit Farmer Sentenced for Moonshine to Feed Family
Ignace Brozovitch of Benoit admitted to moonshining to pay mortgage and support nine children. He pleaded guilty to vending and manufacturing liquor in Ashland and Bayfield counties and was sentenced to 30 days in each county jail. The state will support his wife during his sentence.
