Abandon Plan To Fly Bremen To New York
The Bremen airplane damaged during an unsuccessful take-off from Long Point Labrador will be dismantled and shipped to the United States. Pilot Fred Melchvir and Dr. Louis Cussinier say the plan to fly the craft out is abandoned. They left for Natashquan by motor boat and will sail by steamer to an undisclosed destination. Two mechanics remain with the plane to supervise dismantling and loading onto a coastal steamship.
