Paroled Drunken Driver Teed’s Case Recalled

Warren Guardsmen Return From Camp With Trophies
Members of Company I Warren unit of the Pennsylvania National Guard arrived home Saturday after two weeks at Camp Henderson Mt Gretna Pa. Four regimental streamers were awarded to Captain Charles G Pearson's outfit for rifle marksmanship landscape target problems grenade problem and 100 percent attendance at Federal Inspection. Two soldiers earned silver medals Captain Pearson and Sergeant Andrew Amacher for pistol and rifle marks. The 112th Regiment spent Friday preparing to depart entraining Friday evening and arriving Saturday morning. Athletic meet at the Bowl saw Warren take part in three events. Pay roll of 1465 75 was distributed at discharge. State pay to follow in a few weeks. Headquarters personnel ordered to report Monday night at the State Armory. others not required to report as the weekly drill was called off.

Automobile Crash Kills Man Near Kane Bank
Chester Bailey, 53, of Tiona Warren County, died after his Buick roadster crashed into a bank three miles east of Kane while en route to Kane Summit hospital. Driver John Manes 43, of Tiona, said lights from an oncoming car blinded him. Bailey suffered a fractured skull and broken neck. Coroner ruled accidental death. Bailey survived by wife and thirteen children.
