Parking Drive Aims to Add Downtown Warren Spaces
J K Krimmel campaign chairman said the Warren Retailers raised 4860 of a 10000 goal to fund off street downtown parking. Funds will turn the YMCA tennis court on Liberty St into 32 spaces while summer tennis continues. New deadline is August 20 with plans for one way streets and wider downtown roads.

Red Cross Again Assists Flood Victims
Red Cross disaster funds are being used again after flash floods hit the Warren area. Over 12 000 was disbursed for March flood rehabilitation and recent damage may reach 3 000 to 4 000 dollars. By Tuesday 10 assistance requests were filed for citizen committee review.
