Eastern division all stars defeated the western squad at War Memorial Field on Saturday afternoon in a Midget League game. The contest showcased tight defense and standout plays as the winners secured the exhibition victory.
Joseph Williamson administrator at Warren General Hospital accepted a two volume set of Electrocardiographic Texts from the Warren County Heart Association last Friday. Wendell Peterson, association president, presented the volumes while Dr. John Larson Dr. Robert Donaldson Dr. J. T. Valone and Dr. L. J. Berger observed. The book aims to update staff physicians on reading and interpreting electrocardiographs for better heart disease detection.
Warren borough approves $5,500 purchase of Schultz property known as Mulberry playground and plans a lease for a new port manager at the airport. Possible airport operations include cargo, air patrol, clubs, and passenger flights with feeder-port support from the Chamber of Commerce.
