Dedication of New Armory in Warren Plans Military Ball
A citizens committee met to plan the Armory Building dedication on Hickory street. Among those attending were Postmaster Starling W Waters Ludo Dennison and C D Crandall. Feb 22 is favored for the event with Governor Stuart and state militia leaders likely to attend and a grand military ball planned. An invitation will go to surrounding towns militia may visit Warren for a parade if enough companies attend.

Arthur O Clark six year old son of Mr and Mrs Oliver Clark died January 19 1910 in Corry hospital from peritonitis. He was born June 10 1903 at Fluvanna and survived by his parents two sisters and one brother. Funeral from Brooks Hill home January 21 with Rev J L Woodin officiating. Bearers were Chauncey DeJaynes John Benson Edison McIntyre Willie Benson. Singers were Jennie and Ernest Robbins and Amanda Johnson. Burial in Columbus cemetery.

Railroad Crossing Accident Near Brewery Likely Fatal
Sunday morning about 8 o'clock at the P. R. R. crossing near the brewery a freight train blocked the track. William Kitchen driver for F. H. Rockwell’s farm stepped onto the crossing as the brakeman signaled to proceed. An engine with a caboose struck his sleigh, leaving Kitchen badly injured and likely fatal.

Elevator accident at Steber factory injures 19-year-old worker
Myron Kirberger, 19, employed at the Steber cigar factory, was injured Friday morning when his foot was caught between the elevator and the second floor. He was running the elevator. Dr. J. C. Russell found no broken bones and he will be home for several days.
