Light on the Mountains pageant to be presented by university students
The university plans a production of Light on the Mountains in Moscow on Saturday evening June 9. Paragon Secretary Visits Mine In Wallace District
F O Hammer of St Paul, secretary of Paragon Consolidated Mining, arrived in Wallace Monday and went to the mine four miles above Murray. Under C J Grimamoe the Paragon has developed a large ore tonnage and now runs one shift with plans for full operation. The company owns the Black Horse group, a 100 ton daily mill recently overhauled, plus a water right and electric power for year round operation.

Funds for County Roads Boosted by Forest Revenues

The event, previously men only, included ladies this year and featured bear hunting imagery, cougar meat specialties, and Alaska ice cream. Silver Range gains backing from visiting stockholder
A. Lobe of Kellingham Washington, a Silver Range Mining stockholder and Perfecto Gear president, toured the Silver Range property in the city this week. He praised the property joining the Galena on the east and crossing Placer creek, noting a vein aligned with Galena and a crosscut to reach it in about 80 feet. Burt, the Silver Range manager, has traced the vein via surface openings and expects ore as development continues.
