Paragon Buys Murray Hill Mining Assets On North Side

Paragon Mining, led by manager L. W. Stedman, has acquired the entire stock and holdings of Murray Hill Mining for about £160000, gaining 44 patented claims plus a 100 ton mill and additional equipment. The move, aimed at immediate permanent production, hinges on railroad transport and extension of Washington Water Power to run the mill. Murray Hill, previously Black Horse, has yielded lead, silver and zinc with ore bodies in multiple tunnels, and current plans depend on an engineer’s review and necessary mill upgrades.
