Friend Mining prospects near Beaver Creek
William Schlerding of Friend Mining returned to the company property on Beaver Creek last week. A 400 foot ore shoot in the lower tunnel yields lead and zinc with widths from inches to four feet. Vein dips toward a 100 foot sink, then crosscuts to extend the shoot. Expect richer ore at depth, with two power figures and a concentrating table to improve separation, enabling shipments to cover development costs.
