Wallace Board of Trade Considers Dues Cut and Time Zone Talk
The Wallace board of trade discussed reducing dues for clergy and charity workers to 6 dollars, while ministers would be removed from the half-rate tier. The move aims to boost membership, though objections from a beneficiary surfaced. A time-zone alignment proposal to Idaho mountain time was postponed to the next meeting. Morning Club head HF Elland promoted the new club building by Federal Mining Smelting, inviting regional participation and noting the December 22 opening.

Grade of ore improves at Black Bear mine raise
The Black Bear Mines board, facing tough ore conditions, suspends new taxation yet expects spring cost cuts and a steadier metal market. Ore exposures since last summer show a stronger grade, with No. 2 raise reaching 225 feet above the main tunnel and a vein averaging seven feet wide. Assays indicate high grade lead with notable silver and copper content, plus a trace of gold, while plans include treasury stock sales to fund development without further levies.
