Idaho Montana football game eyed for next year
DIOCK QUOTATIONS OF COEUR D'ALENE MINES DIOCK QUOTATIONS OF COEUR D'ALENE MINES award the membership fee of $100. Idaho-Montana Football. President Mackey referred to the possibility of getting the football game between the University of Idaho and the University of Montana in this city next year, and called upon Frank M. Brashears, chief of the state constabulary, who was a guest at the luncheon, for information. Mr. Brashears was in Spokane last Saturday and witnessed the triumph of Idaho over Gonzaga. Naturally a football enthusiast, he is especially interested in the achievements of Idaho this season for he has two sons playing in the team. Regarding the Idaho-Montana game next year, Mr. Brashears paid that Coach Kelly, of Idaho, had told him he hoped to bring it to either Wallace or Kellogg. Mr. Kelly referred to the game between Idaho and Utah a few weeks ago at Boise, and said that it had accomplished more in the way of advertising the university in south Idaho than could have been accomplished in any other way, and that he felt that an Interstate game In Wallace or Kellogg would have the same beneficial effect in north Idaho .The statement by Mr. Brashears indicates that Wallace can probably get the game if the effort is made, and It is the purpose of the hoard of trade to go after it.
