Gogebic County Board Proceedings Hold August Meeting
Adjourned regular session of Gogebic County Board of Supervisors met at Bessemer Court House on August 4 1924. Quorum present led by Chairman Alvin L Rummel with reports on July accounts Court House Jail and Grounds repairs fencing bids and Home Demonstration Agent resignation. Court approved claims except inquest of unknown body. Gogebic County Fair funds transferred and repairs authorized. Ruth Wheatley resigns Home Demonstration Agent post. bids awarded for fencing infirmary. various committee appointments and next meeting set for September 2 1924.
