Wakefield Township Board of Education official meeting May 6 1924

Regular Wakefield Board of Education meeting opened at 8 15 pm with Tressel as chair. Members present were Tressel Kallander Mathews Kuivinen and Lepisto absent none. Minutes of prior meetings reviewed corrected and approved. Architect Nelson discussed proposed new High School sketches but no action taken. Bills and April payroll listed totaling 14591.58. The board adjourned at 11 20 pm with Abe Mathews signing as secretary.

Notice of Re Registration Wakefield June to August 1924

The 2nd day of June 1924 through the 23rd day of August 1924 marks the re registration period for Wakefield voters. City Clerk Wm Jacobson will oversee in person registrations at the City Hall daily between nine in the morning and five in the afternoon except Sundays and holidays. Qualified voters entitled to vote in the next election must re register during the period, either in person or by affidavit.
