Wakefield City Commission May 1924 session bills bids

The Michigan Supreme Court ruled the anti-parochial school amendment must be resubmitted to voters next November. The decision overturned Farrier law requiring expense and initiator details with petitions. Justice Bird authored the majority. Fellows Wiest and Clark dissented on keeping the measure off the ballot.
