Uniform Traffic Code Sets Rules for Michigan Roads
A new uniform traffic code will take effect August 29 in Michigan, replacing local ordinances. It requires motorists to stop at least six feet behind street cars on center-track streets and buses, signals turns with arm signals, yields to trunk-line traffic, and bans parking on tracks. Violations carry up to 100 dollars fine or jail time up to 90 days.
