Wakefield City Commission Proceedings January 11 1928
The Wakefield City Commission held a regular meeting January 11 1928 with Mayor Alvin L. Rummel presiding. Bills from Upper Peninsula Office Supply Lake Superior District Power Michigan State Telephone and others were presented. The City Accountant and City Treasurer filed tax collection figures for 1922 and the Treasurer's report was read and ordered published. A lecture on Goitre prevention was announced by Dr A W Hornbogen. Various local notices and advertisements appeared including a seven room house for sale and help-wanted in the Wakefield Advocate.
