Dolliver School Notes Highlights Of January Activities
Second graders excel in spelling with many high scores and new gold stars. Margaret Claus named secretary of the primary class as Lincoln's birthday decorates the room. A doll house is built for the primary room and will soon be furnished. Fifth and sixth graders display a new bulletin board and present a patriotic program including Spirit of Young America and History of the Flag. County spelling contest results show the fifth grade highest with 92.12 and the school average 80.12, despite a dispute over old versus new speller editions and a few weak scores dragging down the overall average.
