Emmet County Board actions December 1939 records
The Emmet County Board of Supervisors met with all members present and approved multiple motions. Actions included granting 1938 and 1939 Soldier's Exemption to Geo Nohring, establishing leases to A G Jensen and Peggy Jensen, suspending 1937 taxes on Lot 2 Block 12 Estherville, granting a $25 cash allowance to Fred and Emma Johnson, and approving a Class C beer permit for Fred Hoffmeyer. They authorized a lease signing, ratified and codified a county lease, and recommended to the State Highway Commission a county secondary road system with detailed routes. Also listed are numerous county fund claims and auditable expenses.
