Knights of Pythias members elected new officers for 1940 at a regular meeting led by Past Chancellor Commander Harold Reed. Elected were Don Woodley as Chancellor Commander and Wm. Clark as Vice Chancellor with other posts filled by Ora Brown Jesse Cox Frank Eiden Leroy Thrush Robert Cox Charles Iseminger and Stanley Langmo. Officers to be installed in January by Grand Chancellor Commander E J Manjece or Harold Reed. Past Matrons elected Mrs. Ella B. Jones as president with Mrs. Harry Simpson as vice president Mrs. Gail Morse secretary and Mrs. F A McDonald treasurer. The afternoon included a chicken dinner and Christmas-themed table decorations.

Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Homecoming Draws 175
About 175 members attended the annual Odd Fellows and Rebekahs gathering at the IOOF hall Monday evening. A seven o'clock dinner was served by the ladies while men waited tables. Absent members sent letters, a short program followed the dinner, and the roll call elicited brief responses. Richard Pannell sang two solos and a short playlet featured Clarence Kurtz, Gilbert Amdahl, Mrs. Merton Mason, Geraldine Buckley, Mrs. Gilbert Amdahl, and Lloyd Kurtz. Moonjean Lundervold performed acrobatic dancing before the dance finale. Mrs. Lawrence Jones chaired the dinner and decorations committee. Mrs. Merton Mason oversaw the entertainment.
