Immanuel Lutheran Church in Otis Lang announces German services next Sunday at 10 30 AM with Sunday school at 10 00 AM. Estherville residents will receive the lowest Iowa State Fair railroad rate in years a reduced round trip fare authorized by the Missouri Kansas Texas line making travel cost half. Subway Crossing at Arnolds Park Set for Fall Construction
A new subway crossing at Arnolds Park between the primary road and the C M and P Railroad at the baseball grounds will be built this fall. The railroad tracks will be raised 3.7 feet to provide a 17 foot clearance, with excavation of 6500 cubic yards of earth and 375 cubic yards of rock. The project, under Dickinson county plans, shifts earth and lowers water mains and sewer lines across about 800 feet of utilities. Work starts with piling by Milwaukee crews around August 15 and runs 60 to 90 days, pending tourist season.
