Several candidates in Dooly County announce bids for the Georgia Legislature. Jno C Owen D A R Crum and E F Stoxzer and J H Dorocen seek Democratic nomination to represent Dooly County in the General Assembly, pledging to serve all sections if elected.

The Grand Jury of Dooly Superior Court submits general presentments covering treasurer reports, ordinaries accounts, school funds, court costs, and committee findings. It notes arrears by railroads, school enrollment figures, jail and court-house conditions, convicts and camp health, road conditions, and proposed county tax and repairs. Recommendations include jail improvements, furniture purchases, new bridges, election of new officials, and publication of the presentments.

A lending notice offering easy term loans on farming lands in Dooly county. Agent Col. W. G. Harrison will be in Vienna from the 8th to the 13th of each month to handle the business. Correspondence to Montezuma or Vienna will receive prompt reply from d. W. Haygood of Montezuma, Ga.
An advert proclaims Botanic Blood Balm as the path to beauty through purified blood and healthy skin. Claims to cure skin and blood diseases where eminent physicians have failed. Large bottle priced at $1.00, available from druggists, with another notice elsewhere.
Dooly sheriff sale set for the 1st Tuesday in June 1894 at the courthouse door Vienna. High bid for cash on city lot Nos. 1 through 10 in block 260 as per Cordele map. Property owned by National Guaranty Co. seized by tax FiFa from M E Rushia for 1893 state and county taxes. May 7. G W Sheppard, Sheriff D C.
In Dooly County Georgia the property of J C Clementswill be sold at public sale on the first Tuesday in June 18M between legal hours to satisfy a superior court judgment in favor of R L Barfield versus J C Clements and JN Downing. Parcels include parts of lots 55 56 74 totaling about 134 acres located in the 3rd district. Levy by sheriff J W Roberts dated May 7 1994.
Notice states E M Willingham indenture of 1893 with sale of a saw mill described as a 40 hp Erie engine and 50 hp boiler, located 2.12 miles east of Cordele on S A M railroad, to settle balance due. Sale set before courthouse door on the first Tuesday in June 1894 in Dooly County, proceeds to repay costs and indenture. remainder to Willingham. Agent E F Strezier signs May 7 1894.

Tax executions issued in Dooly and related Georgia counties announce sale of Wild Lands. In Dooly County on the first Tuesday in July 1894 between legal hours, lots 30 129 209 in the 3rd district and lot 188 in the 6th district, totaling 810 acres, are offered for cash to satisfy 1893 taxes owed by Kibbee Hart. Also scheduled is a July 1304 sale of lots 125 136 137 in the 6th district totaling 607 acres, to satisfy 1893 taxes owed by C E Smith executor. Sheriff, Dooly and D C counties.

By decree of the Superior Court in Bierman et al v Hornady deed, I will sell at the courthouse door in Vienna Georgia on the first Tuesday in June to the highest cash bidder the south half of lot number 148 in the 10th district of Dooly County. May 7 1894. Z A Littlejohn, Commissioner.
