A reader offers cash income from selling cold process fruit directions. He claims fresh berries grapes and peaches can be preserved without heat or sealing and sold as samples. Francis Casry of St Louis Missouri advertises mailing fruit samples and complete directions for eighteen two cent stamps.
The colored teachers of Dooly county are directed by the State School Commissioner to attend the Peabody Institute at Marshallville opening June 29 1896 for one month. Attendees must obtain a certificate of attendance from the Manager and file it in the office by May 28 1896. DeWitt's Little Early Risers advertised as a cure for constipation.
