Man’s foot amputated after thrashing accident

Last Friday Dallis Peavy suffered a severe injury while threshing oats when his foot was caught in the thrashing machine. The mishap required amputation above the ankle. He is a cousin of local resident J L Peavy and many friends regret the accident.
