Ordinary Hargrove will order an election on the stock law question to be held county wide with voting on Wednesday July 3. Registration books are open and will stay open until ten days before the election. Voters must register and take an oath in the presence of the Tax Collector or clerk. The sixth and seventh districts are expected to be the closest contests.

Death of Pinehurst merchant W A Snelling
W A Snelling of Pinehurst died Saturday at Mecon hospital after months of ill health. About 50 years old, he led the firm Williams and Snelling and was a devout Methodist. he leaves a wife and six children. Remains brought from Macon and buried Sunday in the city cemetery with Rev J M Austin officiating.

Vienna Public School Commencement Nears Completion
The Vienna Public School ends its commencement week with graduates at the Academy this evening. Friday's music department concert delighted the crowd. Rev. J. As Thomas of Macon delivered a strong Sunday sermon. A medal contest for oratory music and elocution occurred Monday morning, followed by engaging grade exercises. Hon. John T. Boifenflett of Macon gave the commencement address this morning at the Academy. Stores closed as the crowd gathered for the event.
