Vienna officials pass a dual ordinance prohibiting throwing garbage on streets and restricting possession or sale of large cannons and high explosive fireworks. Violators face penalties under the city code. Read and adopted November 4, 1907, by Mayor F. Forbes and the City Council.
A new blacksmith and repair shop is opened in the building west of S. Lasseter's warehouse. E R Kirkland & Son of Vienna Georgia invite all to bring carriages buggies wagons and farm implements for repair services and solicit public business.
