Two New Wells Planned for Wilbarger Foard Oil Co
Wilbarger Foard Oil Co lets contracts for two additional wells to be drilled within a month on the 3000 acre lease near Ragland. One well will be sunk by a Denver firm and the other by a New York company. The firm already has a nine hundred foot well on section 12 in bine shale showing oil and water. Sales manager B W Rice said sand may be struck soon and oil prospects are favorable. The new wells will be located on sections 14 and 16, and Rice visited the sites yesterday.
